Central Park, 100 x120 cm, 2015

It can be said that the best paintings of the artist establish ironic distance towards achievement of the predecessors, she is aware that only a constant struggle for the paintings, as well as for self, allows justification. The act of painting which for some artists becomes destiny and where there is aggression is used by a variety of methods, from heavy painting in layers, painting al fresco, to Lazure leaking painting, dripping known in Surrealism and even more at the New York School of Abstract Expressionism. On some canvases, figure is in the landscape, Central Park is a poetic dedication to nature, greenery and nicer, better life in the midst of urban; other paintings as Marijana are completely abstract psycho-portraits in which Cubist analysis and free sensibility are united. Lepota izazova as well as some other canvases (especially Sunset, as one of the best and the largest), represent the ajar door to the high-energy scenes where external and internal ones permeate. In other words, this artist is with her great will gave new meaning to a little bit extinct aesthetics of pure abstraction. It was best recognized where the similar art was created. It would be able to develop itself in accordance with the respect and nurturing the most secret-personal artistic sensibility.                (D.Djoric)

Artistic strategies of this young artist is not in the movement of Surrealism to abstraction, as individuals were led to extreme opinion about American abstraction as the right realization of Surrealist ideas without direct influence of mimetic and craft. The legacy of the past European painting by Bernard Dorival, Christian Zervos, AndrĂ© Lhote and Michel Carouges compromised the revolutionary of Surrealist theory, and it is just a part of the criticisms of these critics on Surrealism.  Evaluating the work of young Montenegrin artist who lives and creates in Serbia between Belgrade and New York, we have to take into account the wider scene of European and American art, because she rather presents her works in the world than in the country. Artistic strategies of this young artist is not in the movement of Surrealism to abstraction, as individuals were led to extreme opinion about American abstraction as the right realization of Surrealist ideas without direct influence of mimetic and craft.
